ST3GAL3 is a gene encoding the protein ST3 beta-galactoside alpha-2,3-sialyltransferase 3 also called sialyltransferase 6. This protein contributes to the formation of other proteins and contributes to overall cellular function. The effects of specific mutations in ST3GAL3 can be difficult to determine because they are not easily measured in cellular models.
Providing modelling and drug screening services for ST3GAL3 can be a complex process. For this reason, we may be limited in our abilities to provide research services for mutations in this gene at this time. Please contact us with interests and inquiries.
