PRICKLE1 is a gene encoding prickle planar cell polarity protein 1, or prickle homolog 1. This protein contributes to cellular signalling processes that underlie brain development. The effects of specific mutations in PRICKLE1 may be difficult to determine because they are not easily measured in cellular models.

Providing modelling and drug screening services for PRICKLE1 can be a complicated process. For this reason, we may be limited in our abilities to provide research services for mutations in this gene at this time. Please contact us with interests and inquiries.
