CNTNAP2

CNTNAP2 is a gene encoding contactin associated protein-like 2, also called Caspr2. This protein helps to mediate adhesion between cells as well as interactions with the extracellular environment. The effects of specific mutations in CNTNAP2 can be difficult to determine because they are not easy measured in cellular models.

Providing modelling and drug screening services for CNTNAP2 can be a complicated process. For this reason, we may be limited in our abilities to provide research services for mutations in this gene at this time. Please contact us with interests and inquiries.
