CHD2 is a gene encoding the chromodomain helicase DNA-binding protein 2. This protein is highly expressed in the brain during early developmen and binds DNA to help regulate gene expression. The effects of specific mutations in CHD2 can be difficult to determine because they are not easily measured in cellular models.
Providing modelling and drug screening services for CHD2 can be a complicated process. For this reason, we may be limited in our abilities to provide research services for mutations in this gene at this time. Please contact us with interests and inquiries.
